The taiga

The taiga is officaly known as the largest land habitat. With animals such as the fearsome lynx with a life soan as long as 15 years. Aswell as that there is millions of evergreen trees which means the taiga is green apart from when it's covered in snow. The tilt of the earth on it's axis makes winter have longer nights than summer. Although it may seem like a dream there are many fires there. The fires help kill all the old trees. Most animals hibernate during the winter in taiga, or they fly south. The taiga dosent have as many speices as the tropical rainforest biomes,but it is a stunning sight. Many of the animals that live there are predators and only eat meat.
